赵穗生教授，美国丹佛大学约瑟夫-克贝尔国际研究学院政治与外交政策专业终身职正教授兼美中合作中心主任。丹佛大学美中合作中心是美国密西西比河到加州海岸之间最重要的中美关系研究机构，作为该中心的主任，赵穗生是美国外交思想库具有重要影响的学者。他还担任期刊Journal of Contemporary China（中文名《当代中国》）的主编。
    赵穗生1978年考入北京大学南亚研究所，曾是季羡林的硕士研究生。拥有北京大学经济学系的学士及硕士学位，后在密苏里大学取得其社会学硕士学位，在圣地牙哥加利福尼亚大学取得政治科学博士学位。
